About us

Light Art Vision was founded 1997 in Germany by Martin Heine M.Sc.

Martin studied electronic engineering at the Reutlingen University of Applied Sciences, where he also received a Master’s degree in Computer Based Engineering (CBE). He worked on numerous research projects of the University of Stuttgart, the German Aerospace Centre (DLR), and the Denkendorf Institute of Textile and Fiber Research (DITF). During his many years living in the USA, he developed antennas and RF circuits for Valor Enterprises, Laird Technologies, Hirschmann Automotive, and Saunders & Associates (S&A). After returning to Germany, Martin worked at Rohde & Schwarz on military Software Defined Radio (SDR) platforms and at RAFI where he developed magnetic-bearing ultra high speed drives for high performance Rotor Spinning machines. His company Light Art Vision produces sensors for bio-signals (Floranium) and ionized radiation sensing smart jewelry. One of the projects was honored with the “Otto van Guericke” innovation prize from the AiF. Another one with the Future-Ing Award. He holds six patents.

After Martin turned his big hobby „making electronic projects“ into his profession, his new hobbies are painting art with acrylics & oil, building and tuning RC Model Airplanes to let them fly behind his house in the Swabian Alb mountains. On top of all, he started diving.

When Martin was six years old, his parents made his biggest Christmas wish come true: The Electronic Experimental Kit „ELEKTRONIKUS“ from „KOSMOS“

We made it! The Future-Ing Award!

On June 27, 2019, Elektronikpraxis and RS Components Germany awarded the title Engineering Talent 2019 for innovative services and projects to young developers for the first time. Elektronikpraxis and RS Components believe that the achievements of the most talented young minds in the electronics world deserve an award. Especially now in view of the frequently cited skills shortages in the industry and the call from the government and other agencies for more funding for STEM and other engineering-related subjects in schools and universities. „
